Wash Aways are water-soluble films to stabilize fine, transparent fabrics, terrycloth, knitwear or velvet. Water-soluble supports are also suitable for lace embroidery, giving the embroidery a sharp look.
They are called "Wash Away", because the stabilizer after embroidery is put in cold or hot water and is simply washed off.

Extremely stable, it can also be embroidered with motifs with many stitches.
Ideal for large embroidery designs without a frame.
Instructions for use of AVALON ULTRA:
Use AVALON ULTRA for jobs that require more stability. AVALON ULTRA can be embroidered with or without a hoop, so AVALON ULTRA is particularly suitable for large or small embroidery designs, which do not fit in an embroidery hoop due to their size.
Hoop machine embroidery: Cut AVALON ULTRA from the roll to the desired length. Attach the foil and embroider as desired without a hoop. When embroidering, make sure that the stitches are joined together so that the embroidery does not dissolve after washing the film. After embroidery, trim off the excess AVALON ULTRA. Then dissolve the remaining film in warm water.
Lace embroidery: Attach the AVALON ULTRA (without fabric) to the embroidery hoop or embroider without a hoop, then embroider the lace of your choice on the foil.

If necessary, carefully fix the parts on the AVALON ULTRA with a temporary adhesive spray (MADEIRA MSA 1100). After embroidery, cut the excess AVALON ULTRA near the edges and rinse off the remaining film.
Fabric/thread/fiber collage: Place small pieces of fabric and/or several remnants of threads between two layers of AVALON ULTRA. Tip: Carefully spray the bottom layer of AVALON ULTRA with a temporary adhesive spray so that the layers are glued together and the pieces of fabrics/threads/fibers do not move. Fix the layers additionally with a few pins if necessary. Then embroider the pieces with a weave of threads as described above. Dissolve the remaining film in warm water.
Important: Always store AVALON ULTRA in the guard tightly closed. This will protect your film from dirt, moisture and heat.
