Ideal for stretchable fabrics such as T-shirts, jersey and stretch fabrics. Instructions for use of COTTON STABLE:
COTTON STABLE has a coating on one side that develops an adhesive effect through heat.
Machine Embroidery: COTTON STABLE stabilizes elastic fabrics during the embroidery operation. Cut COTTON STABLE from the roll to the desired length. Lay the protector with the adhesive layer facing down on the back side of the fabric. Iron the stabilizer on the fabric with the iron, to do this adjust the temperature of the iron to the fabric, but not very high. The duration of ironing depends on the fabric, the adhesive effect begins after about 5 – 20 seconds. Secure the stabilizer with the fabric in the embroidery hoop – the fabric must be on top. After embroidering, carefully peel off the excess stabilizer.
Machine Application: COTTON STABLE fixes the fabric and improves fabric transport. This makes the application
becomes more uniform. Iron COTTON STABLE on the back of the fabric on which the application is to be made, as described above. After application, carefully peel off the excess stabilizer.
Computer printing: Light fabrics can be printed like paper with the help of COTTON STABLE with an inkjet printer. To do this, first cut COTTON STABLE and the fabric into the size of an A4 sheet. Then iron COTTON STABLE on the back of the fabric, as described above. After printing, peel off COTTON STABLE from the fabric.
Attention! The fabric print is not wash-resistant.
Buttonholes: With COTTON STABLE, you can sew buttonholes on elastic fabrics without any problems. Iron COTTON STABLE on the fabric, as described above, sew the buttonholes and carefully peel off the excess stabilizer.
Note: Always store COTTON STABLE in the guard. This protects your stabilizer from dirt and moisture.
