Pfaff 821137096 Special Creative Shuttle

To create special works with the bobbin: decorative stitches sewn inside out. There are different ways to work with the special creative shuttle Pfaff depending on the type of decorative yarn you are using for your projects.

For heavy or special yarns: Load the bobbin with the decorative yarn slowly.
Place the bobbin in the special creative shuttle of Pfaff. To achieve a loose consistency use special thinner yarns and adjust the bobbin tension screw if necessary, so the thread is pulled smoothly and will have a slight tension.

Place the bobbin in the special creative shuttle and pass the special yarn into the bobbin tension.

For heavy yarns and special yarns with weft: Load the bobbin by hand clockwise. Insert the coil into the shuttle. For more structured work, do not pass the heavy yarn through the bobbin tension, but pass it directly into the bypass slot.

To bring the bobbin thread up, hold the needle thread and turn the handwheel towards you.

Usage:

• Thread the machine over with regular sewing thread.
• Use the recommended needle size for your chosen fabric type.
• Insert the 2/2A or 8 presser foot.
• Place the fabric right side down and place the hook-and-loop stabilizer on the wrong side.
• Select points that have a low density. Work with straight stitches, zigzags and decorative stitches. For best results, increase the stitch length.
• Select a low sewing speed and sew at a constant speed.
• Increase the needle thread tension if necessary.
