Husqvarna Viking 620097196 Strap foot and belt attachment for S21 and S25

The Strap and Belt Attachment Foot allows easy creation of loops using the coverstitch. Simply insert a strip into the presser foot to fold it and automatically sew it in place.

• Set the machine to the wide cover stitch.
• Use the predefi nite stitch settings. Change them if necessary.
• Cut a strip of fabric 25 mm wide.
• Cut the top corner of the strip at 45° to form a point.
• Insert the cut corner into the guide. The right side of the fabric should be facing up. Pull the strip through the slot and under the presser foot. Unfold the back of the strip behind the presser foot. If necessary, use tweezers to insert the strip into the presser foot.
• Engage the Strap and Belt Attachment Foot on the machine.
• Slide the strip about 2 inches behind the presser foot.
• Lower the presser foot. Make sure both ends of the strip are turned down before sewing. Sew the first few stitches. Stop and stop the needle threads next to the presser foot. Continue sewing.
• To get an even seam, hold the fabric strip slightly under the first guide in front of the presser foot.
• Sew at medium speed. While sewing, check that the fabric feed is even.

Note: Sew the folded fabric strip with no other fabric underneath to create straps and belt attachment or sew on other fabric to create decorative effects.
