Use a stabilizer if necessary. Straight stitch, length 2.5 or zig zag stitch, length 2 to 4, width enough to cover trimmings or cord (or use a decorative stitch).
1. Slide the trimmings from the top of the foot into the guide hole and under the foot.
2. Lower the presser foot and sew. The trimming/cord guide accessory ( 412554445 ) guides the trimmings as you sew.
