Drawstring foot Husqvarna Viking

Use the cording foot to create embossed bead stitch appliqués. The cording thread is guided by the presser foot while the stitch is sewn onto it.

1. Thread a 40 Madeira yarn above, and put one thread per bobbin underneath.

2. Apply the cording thread into the presser foot guide. Position the cording thread so that it is properly carried in the presser foot and sew.

3. Select a spot for narrow applications. (Follow the application instructions, but set enough width for the zig zag to sew over the drawstring.) On computerized sewing machines, select the programmed application stitch and carefully adjust the length and width to sew above the cord.
On other sewing machines, select zig zag stitch, length 0.3 - 0.5, width 1.5 - 2.

4. Draw a design directly on the fabric and sew it. The size of the drawing will match the size value set on the application point.
