Husqvarna Viking 412934545 Button foot with accessory

This button foot lifts the button slightly away from the fabric to create the shank of thread needed to fasten the button and prevent it from sticking too much to the fabric.

• Thread the needle and bobbin with matching sewing thread. Insert the button foot
• Use the gray toggle to set the distance between the button holes. At the rear limit switch, the wire shank is non-existent. The first position creates a short thread stem and is suitable for light fabrics. The second position (inner limit switch) creates a longer thread shank for heavier fabrics.
• For buttons smaller than 6 mm, use the accessory. Insert the accessory into the button holes. Note: Avoid using buttons thicker than 3 mm
• Insert the accessory with the button into place in the groove of the presser foot. The button will automatically be placed in the correct sewing position.
• Remove the accessory
• Select "Sewing Buttons" in the Sewing Guide (if available). Adjust the stitch width as needed according to the distance between the button holes.
• Sew the button as described in the instruction manual.
