The double feed with two interchangeable feet has been fine-tuned to evenly advance padding and/or fabrics in multiple layers.

Perfect for quilts, velvet, some stretch fabrics, faux leather and fabrics that must be matched with particular care. Fit the new straight stitch foot and use the straight stitch with the needle in the middle position for stitches that do not exceed length 6.

1. Remove the leg shank by unscrewing the screw that locks it.
2. Place the double feed on the machine from the rear top, placing the fork over the needle tightening screw. Then screw the double feed onto the presser foot bar with the screw that secures the shank of the presser foot. Reduce the presser foot pressure and bring it to 3.

3. With the presser foot bar in the up position, insert the presser foot under the dual feed.
4. Push the presser foot up so that it clicks into place.
5. To remove the foot, push the front of the foot up until it is detached.

Attaching the Guide

The two guides supplied with the double feed facilitate the execution of parallel rows of stitches, for example for the creation of cannoletti or folds. There is a guide for the left side and one for the right.

6. Insert the guide into the hole in the back of the dual feed.
7. The gap between the foot and the rail can be adjusted by pulling to the left or right.
