1. Place the fabric under the presser foot.

2. Bring the bottom wire up by turning the handwheel ring.

3. Lower the presser foot.

4. Sew by moving the fabric in the desired direction for quilting or darning.
Move the fabric in smooth motions, moving faster as the sewing machine picks up speed.
