Gathering foot

It allows you to gather the fabric or to gather and fix a ruffle in a single operation.
Suitable for light or medium-thick fabrics. Straight stitch, (needle on the left), length from 3 to 6. The longer the length, the more the applied fabric is curled.
Apply the gathering foot.

For gathered fabrics:

• Place the fabric under the gathering foot and sew. Increase the upper tension for more accentuated gathers.

To gather and set the curled fabrics in a single operation:

• Place the fabric to be gathered under the presser foot right side up.
• Place the fabric to which the ruffle is applied into the groove of the presser foot facing down.
• Sew, guiding the bottom fabric without holding it. Hold the top fabric in the groove by moving it evenly as needed. At
• Increase stitch length and upper tension to increase the curling effect.
