The manual buttonhole foot for sewing the eyelets manually in four steps. (Ideal for small buttonholes that need to be sewn on small fabrics or near a reinforced edge, or in any case, when the sensormatic buttonhole is not usable).
The Sensormatic buttonhole foot provides the perfect buttonhole with both sides of the buttonhole sewn in the same direction for a more even result. The buttonhole will be completed automatically. Different models have different options, so check the machine part number and select the right presser foot for your machine.
TIP: Fabrics that move or stretch easily should be reinforced with water-soluble stabilizer, fabric paper, or other lightweight stabilizer. The stability of the buttonholes will be increased by inserting a thread of the spurs during sewing. Laundry buttonholes are particularly elegant by using a heavier yarn with a topstitching needle.
