The Janome Skyline S5 offers 91 needle positions. This allows you to have more details in the decorative points, and incredible adjustments in the creation of the point. And with 9mm stitch width, this kind of details can be easily appreciated.

9MM Zig-Zag Width

You can create dots nine millimeters wide dots on your Skyline S5! The extra width makes all your decorative spots more beautiful, brighter and sharper.

6 bright LED lights

Ultra-clear LED lights in three positions, illuminate the arm of the machine, providing a dazzling work area. Being able to see your projects with extra light, seeing smaller areas is easier.

Voltage control automatic

When you select "A" on the tension dial, the machine adjusts the tension according to the thickness of the fabric. Especially useful when passing from layers of fabric of various types. It allows the user to create a perfect spot on a wide range of materials. The user can still set their own voltage traditionally by selecting from the numbers on the voltage dial.

Point Type Selection

The backlit screen " Digital LCD " shows a series of data by points and selection pins. This very useful sewing information is displayed very clearly with clear characters on a backlit display, which makes everything clearer and simpler. The navigation keys are located close to the screen and allow the user to easily select points.

Start / Stop button

The start/stop button allows the machine to sew without using the pedal. This function is ideal for sewing long seams, or for quick mending. This button also allows speed control. At the beginning of your seam, simply press and hold to slowly accelerate the set speed. At the end, press and hold to slow down, and release the button to stop the seam. This new exclusive function allows Janome great control at the beginning and end of seams.

Automatic wire razor

The yarn is cut at the push of a button. No more scissors, or thin threads wrapped around a blade. The innovative wire cutter leaves the wire short, saving as much wire as possible when cutting.
